They are looking for an experienced User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) Developer to develop dashboards, user interfaces, and visualizations to assist the United States Transportation Command in decision making and modernizing operations.

Responsibilities

This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the way the Department of War projects and sustains its forces around the world

In this role, you will develop dashboards, user interfaces, maps, and other visualizations to transform data into actional information to provide leaders with time, space, and options in decision making

You will work to modernize the way USTRANSCOM operates and transform the command into a data-driven enterprise

Design and develop intuitive user interfaces to optimize the overall user experience

Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards, maps, and visualizations to help users consume information and make decisions

Work with data scientists and end users to refine usability and interface workflows

Advance the mission by connecting customers and their challenges with UI/UX solutions

Think creatively and challenge the state-of-the-art

Challenge and support teammates. Share ideas. Win together

Continuously improve the accuracy, speed, and efficacy of existing tools

Develop and maintain professional relationships to support USTRANSCOM

Required

Minimum of 5 years or relevant experience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 3 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 0 years with PhD

Experience with development and implementation of enterprise-level UI/UX solutions

Demonstrated creative thinker with a mission-minded focus

Possess a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Ability to persist in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills

U.S. citizenship required

Active DoW Secret Clearance

Preferred

Knowledge of various machine learning methods including classification, regression, time-series forecasting, neural networks, deep learning, and artificial intelligence

Experience with Palantir Foundry

Experience with Python and/or PySpark
