Responsibilities
Conduct audits of accounting, financial, and operational records and processes, applying professional auditing and accounting standards
Supervise and review the work of auditors assigned to engagements
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and the reliability and integrity of financial and operational data
Evaluate compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities for operational and process improvements and provide practical recommendations
Prepare audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
Draft, review, and present audit findings and reports to management
Participate in audit planning activities, including risk assessment and scope definition
Assist with the development and implementation of data analytics to enhance audit testing and coverage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; accounting or finance strongly preferred
Minimum of 3 years of audit experience; internal audit experience or a combination of internal audit and public accounting preferred
Professional certification required (CPA, CMA, CIA, CISA, or CFE)
Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel moderately (less than 15%)
Preferred
Big 4 Public Accounting Experience Preferred
Internal audit experience or a combination of internal audit and public accounting preferred
Experience using data analytics tools such as ACL, Alteryx, or Tableau preferred
