IT Helpdesk Technician (Tier 1)
CyberCoders is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician (Tier 1) to ensure smooth daily operations by providing technical support and managing routine IT tasks. The role involves assisting users with hardware and software issues, documenting troubleshooting steps, and supporting the onboarding of new users.
Responsibilities
Create, update, and close support tickets with clear documentation
Assist users with basic hardware, software, and login issues
Collaborate with other departments or team members for complex problem resolution
Coordinate with vendors for equipment or service support and repairs
Keep users informed about the status of their requests
Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference
Support onboarding of new users, perform basic system maintenance, and track IT equipment
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a customer service-focused role with strong communication and client-support skills
1+ year in IT Helpdesk or technical support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-access issues
Build and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally
Anticipate and respond effectively to organizational and client needs
Work cooperatively, follow direction, and take initiative when appropriate
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and make timely decisions
Deliver consistent, high-quality work with attention to detail
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
