Mid LevelCompunnel Inc. is seeking an Advanced Corrosion Laboratory Technician for their structural materials testing facility. The role involves performing advanced chemical and corrosion tests, preparing samples, developing data acquisition systems, and producing technical reports.

Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory tests and prepare samples to identify the chemical properties of concrete, coatings, sealants, admixtures, and other structural material products. Specific tests include, but are not limited to the Rapid Migration Test, Rapid Chloride Permeability Test, Accelerated Chloride Penetration Test, and other advanced tests
Evaluate data for the purpose of determining material properties related to corrosion resistance
Maintain automated data acquisition systems and low voltage control systems for corrosion assessment
Produce technical reports and review research project documents
Maintain and develop specifications, test methods, and standard laboratory procedures
Occasional travel may be required for field inspections and material sampling
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to perform laboratory testing
Ability to operate a computer for word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Previous laboratory work experience
Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
Ability to work in a team environment
Skilled in the use of computers and Microsoft Office applications
Familiar with data acquisition systems
Ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy
