ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking an Intern to assist with tool and gage inventory management, calibration and compliance support, and manufacturing and quality collaboration. The role involves cataloging production tooling, maintaining inventory records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Assist with cataloging and labeling all production tooling, fixtures, and inspection gages
Maintain accurate inventory records within designated tracking systems (spreadsheets, ERP, or calibration software)
Support physical audits of tools and gages to ensure accuracy between records and actual inventory
Help organize tool and gage storage areas to improve accessibility, traceability, and 5S compliance
Assist in tracking calibration status of inspection gages and measurement equipment
Verify that tools and gages are properly identified with calibration status, due dates, and ownership
Support coordination with Quality or Metrology teams for gage calibration and returns
Help identify and segregate out-of-tolerance or damaged tools and gages per established procedures
Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support day-to-day production needs
Assist in ensuring tools and gages are available and properly staged for production or inspection activities
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to tool control, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency
Support documentation updates related to tool control, gage management, and inventory procedures
Assist with data collection and reporting on inventory accuracy, utilization, and gaps
Identify opportunities to improve organization, tracking, or efficiency and provide recommendations
