10+ years expSpire is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations and IT team. The ideal IT Manager will ensure the secure and efficient operation of computer systems, applications, hardware, and software across the company, overseeing all IT infrastructure and managing the IT department.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the IT department, including system administrators, vendor support technicians, and network engineer consultants
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Oversee all MIS systems related to orders, inventory, job management, shipping, machine interfaces, estimating, and workflows
Manage DNS, IIS websites, SQL Server databases, disk space, Active Directory, SFTP servers, and all device inventories
Collaborate with security vendors, including Sophos Taegis portal, and conduct vulnerability scanning with Tenable, Burp, and Nessus
Handle SSL certificates, encryption, and other security measures
Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
Ensure network security and data protection strategies are in place and effective
Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware, software, and services
Provide technical support, guidance, and training to staff across departments
Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on company operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
10+ years of experience in IT management or similar roles
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise software
Experience with vSphere and ESXi 8.x, Quest Rapid Recovery, MFA (DUO/Microsoft Authenticator), Exchange (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud), and O365
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Acrobat subscription management
Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and SOC 2 or relevant certifications
Ability to commute to Peabody, MA 01960
Ability to relocate to Peabody, MA 01960 before starting work
Strong project management and team leadership capabilities
Expertise in architecture, design, integration, and performance tuning of IT systems
Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain risk management protocols
In-depth understanding of company-specific IT needs and business continuity requirements
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant certifications like ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA are a plus
