CNC Machinist - Programmer
Re:Build Manufacturing is a growing family of industrial and engineering businesses focused on revitalizing US manufacturing. They are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist-Programmer to help develop an automation-first CAM application, with responsibilities including machining parts, generating CNC programs, and collaborating with engineers to refine machining strategies.

Responsibilities
Machine parts on CNC mill and lathe equipment
Ownership of the shop space, equipment, maintenance, and inventory
Generate CNC programs for various parts
Evaluate the pros and cons of various machining strategies, including machine sequencing, fixturing, toolpath design, and tooling
Work with scientists and engineers to develop effective automated machining strategies
Conduct basic metrology on cut parts
Read and edit G-code when required
Document cutting results and provide written reports for key results
Ideate product development teams to design an impactful product -- you represent our customer base, and need to keep things grounded
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of CNC machining and programming experience in a high-precision industry (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.)
Proficiency with CNC programming software
Ability to edit and read G-code
Excellent drawing reading skills with a working knowledge of and experience using GD&T
Proficiency in MS Office applications required
A strong desire to help develop next-generation CAM technology
Preferred
Solid modeling experience using Solidworks is strongly preferred
