Pricing & Analytics Manager
WORLDPAC is seeking an autonomous and strategic Pricing & Analytics Manager to lead and manage pricing science initiatives for their automotive parts portfolio. This role involves overseeing a team and working cross-functionally to optimize pricing strategies and drive revenue growth while utilizing advanced analytics and data science techniques.

Responsibilities
Design and deploy pricing and margin optimization models, including elasticity estimation, price sensitivity analysis, and what-if scenario modeling to support revenue and profitability objectives
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of pricing models for thousands of automotive parts across B2B, distribution, and e-commerce channels
Oversee competitive pricing analysis versus OEM, aftermarket, and distributor pricing, ensuring actionable insights are delivered to senior leadership
Direct pricing actions based on margin analysis, SKU lifecycle, elasticity testing, and sales performance, with accountability for results
Establish and manage discounting and promotional strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to balance volume and profitability
Supervise the design and deployment of statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting, price elasticity, inventory velocity, and customer behavior, including margin optimization and what-if scenario modeling
Guide the team in recommending pricing adjustments, segmentation strategies, and dynamic pricing opportunities using predictive models
Ensure continuous monitoring and refinement of model performance using real-time sales and market data
Apply experimentation and advanced analytics techniques to evaluate pricing strategies, promotions, and trade-offs across volume, margin, and customer behavior
Oversee the extraction, transformation, and analysis of large datasets from ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), and e-commerce platforms
Build and maintain end-to-end pricing analytics pipelines, integrating transaction data, cost structures, and competitive signals to support scalable and repeatable pricing decisions
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting to track pricing performance, margin trends, and competitive positioning for executive review
Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams
Identify and champion opportunities to automate pricing workflows, improve data quality, and scale analytics across the organization
Partner with IT and analytics engineering to implement pricing engines, automated scripts, and reporting platforms
Standardize and govern pricing analytics pipelines, documentation, and rules for sustainable and repeatable analytics practices
Partner closely with pricing, category, and commercial teams to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver actionable pricing recommendations
Lead collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align pricing strategies with business objectives
Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
Oversee training and enablement on pricing tools, dashboards, and analytical methods for team members and business partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field
7+ years of experience in pricing analytics, data science, revenue management, or related analytical roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity
Demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy, price elasticity, and revenue optimization techniques, with direct experience at the distribution level highly desirable
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and Excel
Experience analyzing large SKU-level datasets and evaluating margin impact
Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Proven ability to communicate complex analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Track record of working autonomously and driving initiatives to completion
Preferred
Experience in automotive parts (OEM, aftermarket, distribution) or manufacturing pricing analytics
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and pricing optimization software
Knowledge of A/B testing, experimental design, and predictive modeling for pricing decisions
Exposure to big data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift) and workflow tools (dbt, Airflow)
