Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the accounting and reporting for the company's investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual investment accounting reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements

Monitor and analyze investment performance, identifying trends and variances, and providing insights to management

Perform monthly reconciliations of investment accounts and resolve any discrepancies

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures related to investments

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support

Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and implement new standards as necessary
