Senior Pneumatic Panel Technicians

Cynet Systems is seeking a Senior Pneumatic Panel Technician responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining avionic components and systems. The technician will collaborate with teams for in-field installations, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Perform installation of avionic components and systems, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to design specifications
Read instructions, work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly
Mount and install components including PLCs, HMIs, relays, contactors, switches, and terminal blocks in panel enclosures
Assemble cables, buses, and electromechanical systems
Measure, cut, solder, and/or crimp wire and contacts to fabricate wire harnesses
Conduct detailed installations, including tubing and intricate cable harness configurations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Inspect, test, and verify avionics assemblies against technical models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Troubleshoot panel system issues and perform modifications, rework, repairs, or maintenance to resolve malfunctions
Conduct inspections, cleanings, measurements, and testing activities to ensure optimal function of GSE systems
Adhere to quality management system standards, requirements, and procedures
Collaborate with teams to perform in-field harness installations
Lead continuous improvement efforts in avionic installation processes, prioritizing safety and operational efficiency
Maintain a collaborative team environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to rapidly evolving project needs

Required

High school diploma or GED
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check, including employment and education verification
Physically capable of field inspections and project walkdowns, including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders/scaffolds, and lifting up to 40 lbs
Three (3+) years' experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or relevant industry experience
Experience with panel, wiring, and mechanical installations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wire diagrams, and electrical schematics
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Experience with avionics/panel manufacturing and operation of related test equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards
Proficient in using measurement tools and basic math concepts
Commitment to providing high-quality products and services, with focus on continual improvement

Preferred

Associate degree in related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute
Additional technical training or industry certification preferred
5–10 years in aerospace or related manufacturing, focusing on rack or panel fabrication
Proven success as a hands-on technical leader
Experience with pneumatic, electromechanical, and electrical/mechanical assembly
IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-620, NASA space addendum 8739.4 certification a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix technical problems
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams, building trust, respect, and a culture of inclusion
