Responsibilities
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments
Manage test infrastructure and tools
Configure and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Handle test data management and database administration
Understand and Troubleshoot Test Executive/NI Teststand Sequence Execution and ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Systems, preferably in satellite facility labs
Work directly with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) on test station issues
Maintain and optimize test station network infrastructure
Debug communication issues between test equipment and control systems
Support production testing operations
Experience with scripting languages (Python, etc.)
Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks
Create and execute automated test scripts
Implement performance testing solutions
Design and maintain test automation architecture
Develop and execute test plans and test cases
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Document and track software defects
Validate bug fixes and feature implementations
Monitor system performance and reliability
Provide technical support for testing teams
Troubleshoot issues in test environments
Implement and maintain testing tools and processes
Qualification
Required
Programming knowledge (Python, Java, or similar languages)
Understanding of testing frameworks and tools
Database management skills
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Experience with automated test equipment
Background in manufacturing or aerospace testing environments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
7-9 years of experience in software testing or development
Preferred
Knowledge of satellite systems (preferred)
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Security testing principles
Relevant certifications (ISTQB, AWS, etc.) are often preferred
