Responsibilities

Support Project Managers managing capital infrastructure projects from initiation through execution
Perform analytical functions to support construction and execution of substation, sub-transmission, and transmission projects across SCE territory
Gather, document, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex data sets
Define system scope and objectives under general direction
Develop or modify procedures to solve moderately to highly complex problems, considering system constraints and desired outcomes
Prepare detailed technical and functional specifications
Design, code, test, debug, and document application programs as required
Interface directly with external customer project managers and technical teams to coordinate activities and ensure customer requirements are met
Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and programmers
May be responsible for completing specific phases of a project

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
5+ years of experience in an analytical or systems role
Strong experience using databases and spreadsheet tools
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information
Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work independently under general direction
Experience supporting Project Managers through full project lifecycle
Infrastructure construction experience (electrical preferred)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Administrative and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Results-oriented mindset
Ability to operate at a high technical level across systems analysis and programming activities
