Associate Project Controls Analyst
Heyer Expectations LLC is seeking an Associate Project Controls Analyst to support project management efforts. The role involves creating and monitoring project schedules, analyzing project performance, and ensuring effective communication across project workstreams.

Responsibilities
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project management practice and specifications
Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the various project workstreams to manage their tasks and understand any variances seen in the weekly reports
Ensure accuracy of project schedules, metrics and including resource loading status
Co-ordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports
Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity
Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
Maintain project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects
Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans
Developing conceptual models for Business Capability traceability matrix to explain processes to all levels of users
Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as MS project or Primavera P6
Data Analysis: Ability to independently analyze, plan, and report data to create detailed project plans
Document Management: Ensure key documents are stored and retrievable in logical fashion with appropriate security per the information retention policies and procedures. Good working ethics and ability to treat documents with confidentiality
Ability to handle multiple, concurrent tasks with a variety of time sensitivities in an efficient manager. Organisationa values being nimble as a beneficial character trait. Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy: The successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail to accurately update, extract, report using various systems, such as Fieldglass, Excel, Training reports with vital information on multiple aspects of each team member job requirements or work allocation
Organizational Skills: Ability to keep track of multiple, concurrent tasks which have varying priorities and due-dates that are subject to change. Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively within a team setting and also to provide leadership when required to do so
Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication to ask questions, express opinions, convey different alternatives to problem solving. Ideally be able to develop visual representations of ideas, data variances, trends. Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, Computer Science or Business Admin/Management Information Systems
Working knowledge of Financial and Accounting concepts
7+ years of experience in scheduler or project management roles
Preferred
Prior large corporation, IT Project or other Program Experience – Understanding the working environment of a large company with multiple departments, request processes, information needs to accomplish Propel's objectives and in given timeframes
Financial acumen and understanding of labor forecasting practices for internal and external resources on the project
ERP Implementation Project experience and understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies as it pertains to the various roles and responsibilities of team members
Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. PG&E uses Microsoft Outlook, including extensive use of Calendar, MS-TEAMS for meetings and collaboration, and extensive document storage using SharePoint
Use of PowerBI and/or PowerApp, MS- SharePoint (or similar document management software)
MS-Office suite: Specially creating compelling PowerPoint and Word documents
Agile Project Management software such as Atlassian's Jira or Microsoft's ADO workbench
