They are seeking a Portable Field Technician to support branch operations by ensuring timely delivery, setup, maintenance, and retrieval of HVAC rental equipment in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Responsibilities
Prioritize and execute delivery and pickup schedules; adapt to changing job site needs
Safely operate company vehicles up to 26,000 lbs to transport HVAC rental equipment
Install and set up portable cooling equipment at commercial job sites
Inspect, clean, and perform basic repairs on rental equipment to ensure operational readiness
Maintain accurate equipment inventory and track units using inventory management software
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the branch and on job sites
Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager regarding job requirements and customer needs
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors
Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency service support
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50lbs and work in varying environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, noisy)
Must be able to pass a medical DOT exam
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld/mobile devices
Strong communication, customer service, math, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively in a team setting
