The State of South Carolina's Commission for the Blind is dedicated to providing vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with visual impairments. They are seeking a BEP Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure compliance of vending facilities operated by Blind Licensed Vendors with federal, state, and local regulations through inspections and audits.

Responsibilities
Ensure that assigned vending facilities are operated in compliance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act and all federal, state, and county laws and regulations by conducting regular onsite inspections
Ensure BLVs understand how to accurately complete and submit required BEP reports on time
Maintain all required documentation in the case management system
Maintain professional relationships with BLVs, property managers, and vendors/suppliers
Participate and ensure impartiality in the bid selection process for facilities in the assigned region
Complete inventory Ins and Outs as vending facilities are awarded and/or prior to site closures
Perform annual equipment inventory for each facility in the assigned region
Complete site surveys for existing or new facilities to determine if they are a satisfactory site as needed
Assist with completing quarterly and annual reports as well as attend BEP meetings and other duties as may be required for success of the program and BLVs
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and experience in recruitment, selection, interviewing, sales, workforce development, or a related field
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience
Experience may be substituted for a degree on a year-for-year equivalent basis pursuant to SC State Human Resources regulations
Preferred
Candidates with prior experience in areas such as code enforcement, inspections, vending machine operations or sales, food service inspection, or risk management would be a strong fit for this role
