Part-Time Stationary Engineer
Donohoe Hospitality Services is a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc., Washington's oldest real estate company, currently seeking a Part-Time Stationary Engineer. The role involves operating and maintaining the assigned facility, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and repair of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair of the HVAC systems and associated equipment
Maintain plant and equipment in sound operating condition
Provide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of plant, equipment and/or hardware
Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance on HVAC and associated equipment
Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
Operate Building Energy management System (EMS) and Building Controls
Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
Perform other related duties as assigned. Must be on-site during the assigned hours and available to respond to on-site emergencies
Qualification
Required
High School degree or equivalent
Must possess a valid stationary engineer's license equivalent to Class 3 Steam Engineer (DC) or First Grade Engineer (MD)
Must pass government background check
Completion of 4-year HVAC Apprentice or equivalent training Program
Completed coursework in HVAC areas
Universal CFC Certification (written proof required)
Minimum of four (4) years of related experience with HVAC systems
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Able to lift to sixty (60) pounds
Capable of ascending ladders to a height of thirty (30) feet
