Administrative Operations Clerk - District 8 - Columbus GA. (COM)
Juvenile Justice, Georgia Department of - DJJ is seeking an Administrative Operations Clerk to perform complex administrative duties and data analysis in support of management decision making. The role involves coordinating research, monitoring business operations, and preparing reports to improve operational efficiency.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Conducts and coordinates financial, personnel, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning
Develops economic demographic, business, and sociological forecasts to support development of plans and strategies
Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with area business community, internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts
Monitors effectiveness of business operations, assesses quality of service and makes recommendations to improve operations
Receives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas
Gathers, compiles and analyzes data
Prepare reports of findings and analysis. May make recommendations to management for operational changes
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university
One (1) year of experience related to area of assignment
An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year
Preferred
Experience with human resources
Experience with finance
Experience with timekeeping
Experience with ordering office supplies
Experience with payroll
