Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter for data integration and migration
Analyze existing ETL jobs and modify mappings to support migration from Sybase to SQL Server
Collaborate with database administrators and application teams to ensure smooth migration and data integrity
Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability in the new SQL Server environment
Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of ETL jobs post-migration
Document technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and migration steps
Qualification
Required
Informatica PowerCenter (ETL Development) - 4 - Proficient - Able to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex ETL workflows independently
SQL Programming (SQL Server) - 3 - Competent - Good query writing, performance tuning, and debugging skills
Data Migration Strategies - 3 - Competent - Understands migration planning, validation, and execution
Performance Tuning (ETL & DB) - 3 - Competent - Can optimize ETL jobs and queries for efficiency
Data Modeling Concepts - 2 - Advanced Beginner - Basic understanding of relational models and normalization
