5+ years expConfidential Company is seeking an accomplished and visionary Design Executive to lead the creative strategy and execution of multiple projects. This high-impact leadership role involves mentoring a team of designers and ensuring that all design work aligns with client vision and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Champion the creative direction for all phases of the design process—schematic design through construction documentation
Mentor and inspire a team of designers to foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration
Ensure all design work aligns with client vision, brand identity, and regulatory guidelines
Develop and manage conceptual design schedules using Microsoft Project
Monitor critical path timelines, identify roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions
Work closely with Construction Project Managers to align design deliverables with project milestones
Serve as the lead point of contact for all design-related communication with internal and external stakeholders
Facilitate the preparation and presentation of the Programmatic Summary and Transformation Playbook
Lead project kickoff meetings, design workshops, and closeout reviews
Direct QA/QC review cycles at the 50% and 100% document milestones
Ensure code compliance, ADA accessibility, and sustainability standards are met or exceeded
Identify and mitigate design risks while maintaining a client-centric approach
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in a senior-level design leadership role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint
Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven success engaging with executives and clients
In-depth understanding of architecture/design processes, construction coordination, and code compliance
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing design teams
Proficiency in Revit is required
Ability to commute daily to our Chandler, AZ office (This is a full-time, on-site position)
