Responsibilities
Setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes in line with work instructions, prints, and specs
Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and travelers to plan operations
Selecting cutting tools, fixtures, and materials appropriate to each job
Monitoring machine performance to hold dimensions and meet quality requirements
Performing in-process checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Applying minor offsets and adjustments as needed
Maintaining a safe, orderly workstation per company safety policies
Documenting production information and communicating issues to supervision
Coordinating with teammates to achieve production schedules
Supporting additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Prior experience on manual and/or CNC lathes preferred
Proficiency reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
Basic understanding of machining methods, tooling, and material behavior
Strong attention to detail with a quality-first approach
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
