Heritage Pool Supply Group, Inc. is offering a Category Management Intern position that provides hands-on exposure to supply chain and purchasing functions. The intern will support supplier strategy, category performance, and purchasing operations while collaborating with Category Managers and Replenishment Teams.

Responsibilities

Support market and supplier analysis while tracking product and category performance

Assist in evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, lead time, and reliability

Help benchmark competitor pricing, product offerings, and service levels

Analyze sales, inventory turnover, and margin performance by product category to identify high-performing and underperforming SKUs

Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Managers and Replenishment Teams to align category plans and support supplier negotiations by providing pricing and volume data

Actively enrolled in a university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field by Spring 2027

Minimum GPA of 3.2

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Must successfully pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and involvement in school or work settings

Strong computer, communication, organization, and time management skills

Preferred

Experience with data analysis or reporting tools is a plus
