Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable backend services on AWS
Leverage Lambda, ECS, Fargate, and other AWS services to build serverless or containerized microservices
Build and integrate messaging and event-driven systems using Kafka and SQS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Python, Golang, and JavaScript (Node.js)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice development
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional experience building backend services in Python, Golang, or JavaScript (Node.js)
Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, ECS, etc.)
Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and serverless computing
Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka and/or Amazon SQS
Familiarity with container orchestration using ECS or Fargate
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven design patterns, and distributed systems
Preferred
AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer – Associate)
Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK)
