Responsibilities

Inventory machine
Evaluate for salvage
Record all serial numbers and options on machine profile
Install all options
Test all functions
Use resources to determine parts to salvage
Remove and clean parts
Inspect consumables for wear/defects
Package parts for storage/shipping
Catalog salvaged parts
List salvaged parts on machine profile
Print barcode label
Shelf parts
Confirm part and bin number
Designate machine for disposal
Email shop manager for trash pickup
Clean work area and empty trash daily

Qualification

Mechanical systems expertiseElectrical systems expertiseCopier equipment experienceParts manual comprehensionBasic networking knowledgeCustomer service skillsInventory control experienceDocumentation skills

Required

Strong aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems; copier equipment experience (Xerox, Canon, Toshiba, HP) a plus
Strong ability to read parts manuals
Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity
Excellent customer service and documentation skills; ability to produce clear reports
Lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and climb stairs/ladders
Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
Associate degree or higher in electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
2–5 years of experience in copier or service equipment maintenance and repair
Proven track record in delivering high customer satisfaction and technical support
Proven track record of inventory control
