Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple substation construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and utility stakeholders
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
Oversee subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and change management processes
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Monitor project progress and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership
Support estimating, bid preparation, and project handoff activities as needed
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all jobsite activities meet PAR Electric’s safety expectations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of project management experience within the electrical utility or power delivery industry
Demonstrated experience managing substation construction projects
Strong knowledge of substation equipment, construction methods, and industry standards
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams on large-scale projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
Preferred
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
