Responsibilities
Own and administer Jira Enterprise for company-wide use
Configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and related modules (storyboards, epics, ticketing flows)
Serve as the SME for Jira, providing guidance and best practices to stakeholders
Manage Confluence for documentation and knowledge management
Assist the migration from commercial Jira to Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and optimize Jira workflows
Offload configuration efforts from other teams into Jira
Ensure Jira supports Agile project management and ITSM processes
Stay informed on upcoming Jira features and rollouts; implement new capabilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Jira Enterprise
Must be able to hit the ground running with Jira administration and configuration
Hands-on experience with Jira Software, JSM, and Confluence
Skilled with Jira configurations, administrative tasks, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of ITSM workflows within Jira
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Preferred
Experience with Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC) migration
Knowledge of GitLab (used by development team) is a plus but not required
Certifications: Not required, but ability to perform the job is essential
Integration Knowledge: Limited scope for integrations post-AGC migration; prior integration experience is not mandatory
