Required

High school diploma or GED and 1 year clerical and office experience OR Vocational training/associate's degree in business accounting, office management, administrative services, or closely related field
Ability to communicate and serve effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, and ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the University and business and academic communities
Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize and to work on numerous projects simultaneously; flexibility
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially when navigating new challenges and opportunities
Reliability and dependability, including on-time arrival and departure
Ability to take instruction from multiple people
Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
Ability to learn new software programs
Strong analytical skills

Preferred

At least three years of experience working with budgets, preferably for collaborative projects or large, externally funded initiatives
Experience working in a sponsored research office, university grants accounting office, or in a business or financial management role on federally funded grants
Demonstrated experience managing or supporting compliance, reporting, or fiscal coordination for externally funded projects
Familiar with SaaS management platforms (CRM and/or Association Management; Memberclicks preferred), web casting and knowledge management platforms (Mediasite preferred), virtual meeting platforms (Teams preferred), and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter preferred)
Concur experience would be a plus along with experience with submitting UT Foundation check requests
Knowledge of University policies, procedures and operations
