Flight Test Control Engineer (Level 3)

Responsibilities

Provide Program Leadership with communication and status of platform readiness and maintenance issues
Act as liaison between Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Test Operations group leads, modification team, and other FTCE's in coordinating scheduled events
Coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness
Effectively communicate, direct, and interact with other test team members, as well as external members to achieve mission success
Train and mentor team members
Maintain configuration of a myriad of items, from test equipment, software, hardware, all items necessary for a successful test evolution

Required

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Recent Aircraft experience on a live Flight Line
Manufacturing Engineer experience
Recent experience working with Maintenance/Modification Operations
Experience and understanding of aircraft configuration
Secret Security Clearance
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Understanding of Flight Test Controls
Test project lead or ship lead experience
Communication experience to company and customer audiences
