Responsibilities
Apply high volumes of customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) accurately and timely
Reconcile daily cash activity and bank reports
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, overpayments, and short pays
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to cash activity and unapplied cash
Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve remittance issues
Assist with month-end close activities and general ledger support
Perform additional accounting support tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong, dedicated cash application experience (high-volume environment required)
Experience working within large ERP systems (Dynamics 365 or similar preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reconciliations)
Ability to adapt quickly, manage changing priorities, and work with urgency
AR or accounting experience in a fast-paced organization
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Manufacturing or high-revenue company background
