Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed resource plans supporting multi-disciplinary software teams and client projects
Forecast and analyze resource requirements based on project schedules, release plans, and business needs
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of time reporting in compliance with company policies
Enforce adherence to time reporting and resource management policies across the organization; identify and escalate non-compliance issues
Collaborate with engineering managers, product owners, and project managers to align resource capabilities with demand (Resource Allocation and planning)
Optimize allocation to maximize resource utilization and minimize under or over-staffing
Utilize resource management and time tracking systems along with Salesforce to monitor resource availability and assignments
Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into resource utilization, time reporting compliance, and forecasting to Leadership
Coordinate between HR, Vendor Management and Sales Force Administrators for onboarding, transitions, and offboarding of personnel in alignment with project needs
Manage and resolve resource allocation conflicts, escalating issues as necessary to leadership
Support ongoing process improvements in resource management, time tracking, and policy compliance
Act as a liaison between project teams, HR, finance, and leadership to ensure alignment on resource and time reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in resource management, capacity planning, or workforce planning
Proven experience enforcing company policies related to time reporting and compliance
Familiarity with Salesforce and its role in resource and project management processes
Proficiency with project and resource management tools such as Certinia (Formally Financial Force), Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms
Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing data to inform resource decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across teams
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
Must be located and able to work during business hours in the Central or Eastern Time zone
Preferred
Experience in Software or Technology industry
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with professional services automation (PSA) or workforce management software
Certifications in Project Management (PMP, Agile, Scrum) or Workforce Planning
Knowledge of SDLC and software release cycles
Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies
