Qualification
Required
High School graduation or GED equivalent
Ability to communicate with a broad range of people
Excellent keyboarding skills
Preferred
Working knowledge of medical/insurance terminology
Demonstrated ability to analyze and explain insurance requirements and benefits
Working knowledge of insurance regulations, billing procedures and diagnosis coding
Working knowledge of automated UB92 and/or HCFA 1500 billing
Working knowledge of hospital registration procedures
