Responsibilities
Train the maintenance team in fostering safety, accountability and team work
Oversee daily maintenance and repair of hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment
Spearhead the preventative maintenance program that ensures guest satisfaction and asset protection
Resolve system malfunctions while ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations
Work with vendors, contractors, and inspectors to ensure quality work and regulatory compliance
Take charge of the maintenance budget, capital projects, and vendor contracts
Troubleshoot issues, resolve malfunctions, and jump in and work side by side with your team to get the job done right
Qualification
Required
A proven hands on leader who communicates clearly and builds trust with their team
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems
3+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs
Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred
Previous Hotel or related field experience preferred
