Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and help transform the advertising industry
Work on a Java/SpringBoot based system running in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that handles over half a million of requests per second
Work on R&D projects and influence the technology and direction for innovating the platform
Work on interconnected projects and components related to the OpenRTB architecture
Handle challenges including high throughput data processing, performance tuning, and automating system interactions
Build real products used by millions of people
Keep business needs top of mind and understand tradeoffs of cost, time, and efficiency in designing high-scale systems
Mentor junior engineers and help others grow their careers
Communicate effectively and ensure decisions satisfy multiple stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Solid CS fundamentals
5+ years experience in software development using Java
Experience working with SpringBoot Framework
Experience working with high performance databases (e.g. Aerospike), and traditional relational databases
Experience working with distributed systems, data structures, concurrency
Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker
Preferred
Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. GCP, Terraform, AWS)
Experience with large scale data processing (e.g. Stream processing)
Experience running real time inference machine learning workloads
Experience with the advertising industry and familiarity with OpenRTB
