As the Education Research VISTA, you will play a pivotal role in building community awareness and partnerships that support our mission, focusing on exploring the education landscape in Texas and developing public-facing tools.

Responsibilities

Establish a structured system to monitor education policy developments, assess their impact on students, and provide timely updates to stakeholders
Create internal briefings and summaries on current and emerging education legislation
Research and map local organizations, civic groups, and funders aligned with College Possible Texas
Develop comprehensive toolkits with key educational messages to equip staff, board members, and volunteers with the knowledge and resources needed to champion College Possible Texas effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (fields such as public administration, communications, or sociology preferred)

Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
Must have reliable transportation
Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; basic communication tool skills a plus
