Responsibilities
Advising clients on compliance with privacy and AI laws and regulations
Drafting privacy policies, AI policies, security-related policies and incident response plans
Conducting due diligence in M&A transactions in relation to data privacy and security matters
Negotiating and drafting technology and data-related contracts, data processing agreements, and the data privacy/security terms of commercial contracts
Advising clients on data security, data breach, and incident response matters
Qualification
Required
A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials
Three to five years of experience in data privacy work in a law firm setting
Minnesota, Colorado, or Utah bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Minnesota, Colorado, or Utah
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with limited supervision
Preferred
CIPP, CISSP, or other privacy/security certifications a plus
