Responsibilities

Meticulously recording grant activity time lines and deadlines to ensure smooth operations
Collaborating with various staff and departments to complete grant applications efficiently
Financial management and coordination of grant activities
Ensuring compliance with all internal, local, state, and federal policies and procedures
Reviewing and assisting with grant proposals and reports
Overseeing compliance and monitoring
Communicating with funding agencies
Ensuring overall financial contract compliance

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in accounting, business administration, public administration, or related field
Previous grant or persuasive writing experiences
Strong written, communication, and business skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to relate professionally and effectively with key constituencies (internal and external), and ability to manage sensitive situations and confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with donor database applications
Must work autonomously and as part of a team
Must understand and appreciate the mission of The Salvation Army
Collaborative, and energetic team player
Ability to respond to management direction, commitment to working extended hours as needed, and complete tasks on time or notify manager with an alternate plan
Occasional morning, evening, and weekend work required for events and donor meetings

Preferred

Salesforce or CRM work is a plus
