Responsibilities

Design and develop cut-and-sew styles for the men’s collection, including tops, bottoms, and outerwear
Research and interpret seasonal trends and fabrics to create compelling design concepts
Apply knowledge of print techniques (screen printing, digital printing, heat transfer, etc.) to enhance garment design
Demonstrate expertise in garment washes and garment dye techniques to achieve desired aesthetics and finishes
Create detailed technical sketches and design presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Collaborate with product development and technical design teams to ensure accurate fit and construction
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes for each style
Participate in fittings and provide design input to maintain brand standards and quality
Manage design timelines to meet seasonal calendar deadlines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
3 - 5 years of experience designing for a menswear brand, with a focus on cut-and-sew garments
Strong understanding of menswear aesthetics and subtle design details
Knowledge of print techniques, garment washes, and garment dye processes
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Excellent sketching and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred

Experience with trend forecasting and market analysis
Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices
Strong communication and organizational skills
