HRIS (Workday) Analyst

NEOGOV is seeking an HRIS (Workday) Analyst to support Workday Time and Absence configuration, reporting, and integrations within the Maricopa County Human Resources department. The role involves collaborating with internal customers, gathering requirements, and working cross-functionally on Workday projects to ensure employees have the necessary tools and resources.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the identification, development, and recommendation of business processes and system changes and improvements
Work closely with County stakeholders to understand and evaluate business needs and processes, and analyze the impact of system changes
Conduct needs assessments, evaluate standard operating procedures, model process improvements, develop functional and process requirements, create process flow documentation, participate in implementation testing, and provide training to functional areas and staff
Responsible for production system support, which includes, but is not limited to, escalated research assistance
Assist with integrations, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, and creating and/or updating technical/functional documentation
Assist with reporting, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, migration, and creating and/or updating documentation
Creates user documentation to explain how to use Workday

Required

Five years of demonstrated experience serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams on projects in Workday
This includes requirements gathering, configuring, communicating/documenting information to technical and non-technical users, and working cross-functionally in support of Workday projects
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Preferred

Experience supporting and configuring the Workday Time and Absence module
Experience with Workday as a Time and Absence Administrator
Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and verbal and written communication skills
