Start in 2026 SummerGovCIO is currently hiring an HR Intern for the Summer of 2026 to support GovCIO’s HR Team. The HR intern will work on various assignments including Talent Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Employee Relations while gaining on-the-job training and experience in the Human Resources field.

Responsibilities
Develop a working knowledge of the department structure and processes
Attend department and corporate meetings as assigned
Collaborate with teams across the Human Resources function as well as opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally throughout the business
Support current business processes and assist with implementation of new business processes
Assist in a variety of HR related projects throughout the rotation
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
Able to work 20 – 40 hours/week Monday - Friday from 06/01/2026 – 07/24/2026
Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to excellence
Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to interact and work with individuals from various backgrounds at all levels of the organization
Preferred
Completed coursework or pursuing or a degree in the area(s) related to human resources
