Business Intelligence Strategist

Responsibilities
Leads strategic analysis using large, multi-source datasets to uncover business insights that support GTM, product pricing, and financial strategy rather than simply reporting on performance
Acts as a thought partner to Finance Ops, translating business performance into financial metrics including CAC, LTV, funnel velocity, and retention
Defines and refines KPIs that align execution with company objectives and drives the implementation of strategy across with cross-functional teams
Owns analysis across campaign effectiveness, customer and segment behavior trends, pricing elasticity, and product monetization strategy, focusing on tradeoffs and recommendations
Synthesizes complex insights into concise, visual presentations with bullet points, charts, and storyboards that speak directly to business leaders and executive leadership
Analyzes marketing, product, and financial data into cohesive performance stories that highlight tradeoffs, risk factors, and growth potential
Acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing C-level decisions through strategic insight and clear communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), required
9+ years of related experience, required
Experience in Business Intelligence, Strategic Analytics, or similar roles in a B2B SaaS environment, required
Proven experience working with Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, required
Highly proficient in SQL, with the ability to navigate across modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Domo, AWS, GCP)
Demonstrated strength in consolidating and interpreting data from across numerous fragmented datasets and systems into clear business insights
Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing strategies, including user acquisition funnels, engagement metrics, and customer lifetime value modeling
Leverages GTM and analytics platforms including Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce to extract business insights and influence strategic decisions
Exceptional at communicating findings through brief bullet points, compelling visuals, and direct recommendations—no fluff, just insight
Deep understanding of core SaaS performance metrics, including but not limited to CAC, LTV, ARR, churn, user adoption, and pricing strategy
Proven ability to combine creative and critical thinking while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
Adaptable and proactive with a focus on results, clarity, and decisive action, fostering cross-functional collaboration to support team in achieving goals
Ability to travel less than 5% of the time
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed
