Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field
5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data-focused development
Strong experience with Python and Apache Spark
Hands-on experience with Hadoop or similar ecosystems, including S3, DynamoDB, MapReduce, YARN, HDFS, Hive, Presto, Pig, HBase, and Parquet
Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning
Proficiency in at least one SQL platform: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Oozie, Azkaban, or UC4
Comfortable working directly with business and data partners to translate business needs into data solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills

Preferred

Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
