Responsibilities

Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products
Build customer relationships to understand their needs and ensure a positive shopping experience both in-store and remotely
Leverage expertise in IKEA's multi-channel retail offerings, empowering customers to shop seamlessly both in-store and remotely, whenever and however they choose
Utilize fundamental measurement and construction techniques, combined with a thorough understanding of complex modular furniture planning and basic design principles, to create planning solutions that effectively meet customers’ needs
Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place to give customers a positive shopping experience
Express enthusiasm for IKEA products by consistently expanding knowledge of their features and benefits. Share this expertise with customers to guide their decision-making, ultimately enriching their shopping experience
Understand the store and department action plans. Actively contributes to achieving your department's goals
Actively offer all the services available in IKEA to help customers make informed choices, which results in a better shopping experience for them
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability
Support the implementation and upkeep of planned and commercial activities in, or involving, your range
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Required

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
2 years' relevant work experience
Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
