BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -IT Architect to work in the Middletown, PA area. This role focuses on leading the design and governance of SAP BRIM and related enterprise systems architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise architecture for SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA environments

Establish standards for integration, security, and performance optimization

Oversee configuration and customization of SAP BRIM modules to meet business requirements

Ensure minimal customization by leveraging SAP best practices

Design integration patterns using SAP BTP, CPI, and Applied connectivity

Collaborate with data teams for migration strategies and deltaload planning

Ensure architecture meets PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security standards

Implement encryption, tokenization, and secure payment flows

Maintain architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, and audit ready documentation

Document features, user stories, and technical specifications in Microsoft ADO or JIRA

Lead workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements

Mentor technical teams on architecture principles and best practices

Qualification

Required

Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture roles, including 3+ years with SAP landscapes

Hands-on experience with SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and SAP S/4HANA

Expertise in SAP BTP, CPI, and integration technologies (OData, IDoc, RFC)

Strong knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and secure payment integrations

Experience with large-scale data migration and performance optimization
