Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and interpret experiments (A/B tests and other methodologies) to evaluate product and feature performance
Partner with stakeholders to ensure experiments are well-designed, statistically sound, and correctly interpreted
Build and maintain reporting and visualizations to help teams understand platform and content performance
Investigate performance trends and variances to uncover actionable insights and recommendations
Apply statistical techniques (e.g., regression, causal inference, hypothesis testing) to analyze user behavior
Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with products and content to inform optimization strategies
Support forecasting, goal setting, and opportunity sizing to help evaluate trade-offs and prioritize investments
Quantify potential impact and help stakeholders make data-driven decisions
Work closely with product, engineering, personalization, and content partners to align analytics with business objectives
Communicate insights clearly through presentations, dashboards, and written narratives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or a related role
3+ years of hands-on experience using SQL
Experience with Python, R, or another statistical programming language
Strong understanding of statistical concepts (confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Chartio, or similar
Ability to think strategically and translate data into actionable business insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences
High curiosity, strong analytical mindset, and a passion for data-driven decision making
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
Preferred
Experience supporting personalization or recommendation systems
Experience analyzing content performance or merchandising strategies
Familiarity with experimentation platforms and advanced analytics techniques
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional product environments
Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or a related field
