Financial Analyst, Program Cost Controls

The Financial Analyst will join the Program Cost Controls team to provide financial analysis and reporting for the Standard Missile 2 program, collaborating with various functions within the organization.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive monthly Cost and Schedule reports and analysis
Prepare various finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews and other financial reporting activities as required
Participate in development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
Prepare variance Earned Value reports
Support preparation of cost CDRLs including Contractor Funding Summary Reports (CFSRs), as required by contract
Support Ad-hoc requests as required
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related and less than 2 years finance/accounting work experience
Minimum 2 years documented experience utilizing using MS Office Suite – (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) with pivot tables, charts, creating presentations, etc
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP software, SAP Business Warehouse or equivalent systems
Knowledge of EVMS (Earned Value Management) and ability to obtain certified within 6 months
Continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail and accuracy
Works under general direction and participates in determining objectives of assignment
Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
