Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, and live‑chat messages from existing and prospective clients
Accurately process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and claim submissions
Verify client information and documentation to meet underwriting and regulatory standards
Resolve complaints and escalations according to company procedures, escalating only when necessary
Maintain detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics (call handling time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction)
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and sales teams to provide seamless service
Stay up‑to‑date on product offerings, policy terms, and relevant insurance regulations
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years experience in a customer-service or call-center environment, preferably within insurance or financial services
High school diploma or GED; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
Hold a Property & Casualty (P&C) license – not mandatory for application, but the license must be active by the first day of employment
Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and CRM platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear, courteous, and concise
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Flexible schedule; willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as business needs dictate
Preferred
Familiarity with insurance terminology, policy structures, and state licensing requirements
Experience with outbound sales or cross-selling initiatives
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
