Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and support injection molding processes
Verify and drive improvements while meeting goals of quality, cost and delivery for customers
Create detailed manufacturing work instructions, set-up/change over instructions, control plans and testing procedures in support of FDA requirements
Support continuous improvement by performing product/process analysis for quality improvements, cost reductions and improved efficiency
Help optimize the robust injection molding process to meet customer requirements
Coach, train and guide molding technicians' knowledge and skills
Learn KEIND Quality system requirements
Build relationships with key team members
Assist in validation efforts for commissioning injection mold tools and equipment
Maintain customer specific system documentation in support of FDA regulatory requirements
Learn and adopt Kimball Electronics philosophies and culture
Accountable for the development of Injection Molding processes & procedures
Work with project managers in the execution of project plans
Assist with development of new tooling and maintenance of existing tooling
Accountable for systematically addressing tooling and process related issues
Ability to obtain Master Molder II credentials
Accountable for the training of injection molding personnel
Accountable for the validation of mold tools & equipment
Coordinate validation efforts with project managers, tool manufacturers and customers

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience working within a heavily regulated environment
Knowledge in a variety of design and production methods as well as materials
3-5 years experience in plastic injection mold processing
Ability to manage time and projects while setting and meeting aggressive schedules
