They are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis at the corporate level, driving financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Develop financial modeling, reporting and analytical tools to facilitate understanding of business performance and financial results
Prepare and maintain the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages utilized to inform key stakeholders of the Company’s financial performance
Prepare and manage annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation for corporate and other centralized departments and support department leaders as FP&A liaison
Partner with department leaders to determine and support their specific financial analysis and reporting needs
Partner in monthly budget vs. actual analysis for corporate and other centralized departments, including commentary for key variance drivers and tracking of cost savings or other business opportunities. Work with accounting team to understand period results in order to forecast remainder of year
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and financial strategy
Prepare ad-hoc and routing reporting packages and presentations for support of Senior Executive and Board of Directors meetings
Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
A “do-er” who thrives in spreadsheets, board reporting, and process innovation
Experience managing a full consolidated reporting package
Comfortable working with private equity stakeholders on data-heavy, project-based analysis
Able to own and build out the FP&A function and reporting infrastructure
Must be able to hit the ground running and work effectively behind the scenes
Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance operations
Exceptional written/verbal communication skills and high attention to detail
Ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environment, provide constructive feedback and balance workload with multiple and competing priorities
Methodical and organized approach to completing projects
Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Customer-service focus, with demonstrated experience dealing successfully with front-line internal and external customers
