Junior Credit Analyst
Royal Banks of Missouri is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing credit files, preparing various departmental reports, and conducting credit analysis for assigned relationships. The role involves assisting with loan committee meetings, preparing financial analysis, and ensuring the adequacy of credit files and reports.

Responsibilities
Assists with the coordination of weekly loan committee meetings by preparing PowerPoint presentations, preparing packets for review by the loan committee and loading the presentation on board portal
Responsible for the maintenance of credit files, including scanning and indexing of new and existing files, updating financial ticklers and filing updated financial information in a timely manner
Responsible for assisting with processing for the Business Manager loan product
Assists with the preparation of the loan committee minutes when required
Maintains the loan committee minute books by having the approved minutes signed by an authorized bank officer, placing the minutes in the books and ordering the appropriate book on an annual basis
Assists in the preparation of various weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as assigned including the borrowing base certificate report, the new and renewed loans reports, home equity analysis report, the funding report, the pending report and any other reports deemed appropriate
Responsible for the annual completion of RMA statement studies data submission forms to satisfactorily meet the goals set by RMA
Assists with loan servicing as needed
Completes all financial analysis reviews as assigned and reports results to the appropriate lending officer or department supervisor
Obtains financial information to prepare credit proposals and perform analysis related to a borrowers repayment ability, collateral position, capital structure, and overall solvency
Examines files systematically for adequacy of credit or deficiencies, reports results to the appropriate lending officer as requested and prepares financial request letters or emails based on the identified deficiencies
Prepares written analysis on all large loans, aggregate loan relationships and complex loans
Assists in the preparation of loan rating reviews, watch list presentations, loan loss reserve reviews and exception reports
Researches critical issues and outside forces that could impact existing credit relationships and new loan proposals
Assists in the preparation of real estate evaluations on residential real estate
Monitors maturing and matured loan reports for opportunities to assist loan officers
Responsible for joining relationship managers on client calls and meetings when financial analysis requires additional data or answers
Assists external auditors with their examination and maintains ongoing communication to increase efficiency
Responsible for assisting management with the preparation of responses to examination reports
Responsible for being knowledgeable with regard to various credit enhancement programs such as the Small Business Administration and Business Development Fund programs
Assists bank management with issues that arise with other real estate owned
Maintains technical knowledge and skills by reading regulatory materials and banking publications and attending seminars or other job related courses
Qualification
Required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Access
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Degree or education should include the completion of a financial and managerial accounting courses and finance courses
