Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain cloud application and infrastructure architectures aligned with business and technical goals
Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
Assess existing on-premises environments and define cloud migration strategies, timelines, and resource plans
Lead and validate cloud migrations while ensuring data integrity and system performance
Implement cloud security controls, governance, and compliance standards
Monitor and optimize cloud performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT teams on cloud best practices
Support AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives by mapping use cases to AWS and GCP services
Develop reference architectures, runbooks, documentation, and training materials
Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and recommend improvements and innovations
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience architecting enterprise application solutions across on-prem and cloud environments
8+ years of experience architecting solutions on AWS and/or Google Cloud (GCP)
Strong experience designing cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
Expertise in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models
Experience across AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning solution design using cloud platforms
Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and resiliency
Preferred
Knowledge of virtual networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
Experience with cloud security frameworks, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or scripting languages for automation
Experience with APIs, microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud-native development
Experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, EC2, EMR, Kinesis, and Data Pipelines
Experience with Google Cloud AI tools such as Vertex AI and Agent Builder
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
