The Midtown Group is seeking a technically robust Senior SAP Payroll Consultant to join their delivery team. The role involves leading the hands-on configuration and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions for mid-market and large enterprise clients, while acting as the primary technical expert on projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the hands-on configuration and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions for mid-market (Public Sector) and large enterprise (Commercial) clients

Act as the primary technical expert on projects, troubleshooting complex payroll schemas and rules

Collaborate closely with Employee Central (EC) consultants to ensure that upstream data flows correctly into payroll and that integrations function seamlessly

Own the technical delivery of the payroll solution, ensuring that the 'heavy lifting' of the project is executed to the highest standard

Deep SAP Payroll Experience: You must possess strong functional and technical experience in SAP Payroll. We are looking for candidates who understand the depth of payroll configuration

Consulting Background: Previous experience in a professional services or consulting environment is highly preferred. You must be comfortable managing multiple priorities and client deadlines

Technical Depth: While you will not be leading the practice, you should operate at a 'Solution Architect' level of competency—capable of solving complex problems independently

Integration Knowledge: Understanding how SAP Payroll interacts with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is critical

Citizenship: US Citizenship is required due to the regulated nature of our work

Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive 10-year background check, including a review of financial history
